  • Four suspects face federal charges of plotting to attack and kill Jews by blowing up a synagogue in a Bronx, New York City neighborhood, shoot down U.S. military aircraft by using should-held Stinger surface-to-air missiles, and attack a Air National Guard base with an IED using C-4 plastic explosives.

Using a confidential witness, federal law enforcement agents learned of an alleged plot by four ex-prisoners to "do jihad" by attacking Jewish institutions and U.S. military targets in New York.
