  • A federal judge ordered a hearing to discuss the allegations raised by attorneys representing Guantanamo Bay terror suspects regarding the CIA's reported 2005 destruction of “at least two videotapes documenting the interrogation of two suspected al Qaeda operatives in the agency’s custody.”

The motion is predicated on the court's June 10, 2005 order requiring the government defendants to "preserve and maintain all evidence and information regarding the torture, mistreatment, and abuse of detainees" held at Camp X-Ray in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
