WASHINGTON, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- American Legion National Commander Clarence E. Hill released the following statement concerning this afternoon's shootings at Ft. Hood:

"The American Legion extends condolences to the victims and the families of those affected by the shootings at Fort Hood.
