WASHINGTON, April 10 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Building & Construction Trades Department, AFL-CIO announced today that Senator Barack Obama has agreed to speak at its annual National Legislative Conference in Washington, DC on Tuesday, April 15.
On Wednesday, April 16, Senator Hillary Clinton will address the conference. The Building & Construction Trades Department has made no official endorsement of any candidate for President in the 2008 election.
Over 3,000 union leaders from across the nation will convene at the Washington Hilton and Towers for a three-day agenda focusing on political, legislative and industry issues that affect the livelihoods and security of the 3 million unionized American building trades workers and their families.
