| Law Firm Assistance - Volunteer Clearinghouse |
A bulletin board for anyone wishing to donate goods, services or resources to firms or legal departments which now face the daunting task of rebuilding in the wake of the attack. If interested, send an email outlining specifically what you have to offer (e.g., books, shelving, cataloging services, etc.), who will be responsible for shipping costs (if applicable) and contact information so that firms can get in touch with you. Emails should be sent to: joanne.dugan@westgroup.com.

Description:
I am the CTO of NetCareUSA. We are a full service IT shop which also offers ASP services. Most of our clients are law firms in NYC. While almost all of our clients did not suffer from the attack (only two lost Internet connectivity), we feel for those businesses that were affected. Some of our staff are professional Fire Fighters who also worked in the rescue and recovery effort in the first week of the disaster, and have been personally touched by all of this.
We at NetCareUSA would like to offer any help that we can to help these firms get back to business. Please do not hesitate to contact me and let me know how we can offer our services.

Description:
I am an attorney with over ten years experience, including 8 years with a major defense firm. Since 1998 I have been self-employed doing research and overflow projects for other attorneys.
My large law firm experience was primarily federal court tort litigation including discrimination cases, medical product liability and attorney, architect and engineering malpractice. My background includes experience in complex federal procedural questions and I maintain research files on things such as personal and subject matter jurisdiction, removal, Rule 12(b) motions and transfers pursuant to 28 U.S.C. section 1404. My experience includes some cases in the Southern District of New York.
My current clients are mostly plaintiff's attorneys but my work continues to focus on federal court matters. I would be willing to provide research and/or writing assistance to any firm or attorney, from simply sending a list of cases where research could begin on specified topics or answering questions or assisting in reviewing or writing things. It would be easiest to handle requests and projects by email and/or fax machine.
