Britney Spears' ex sentenced to jail
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Britney Spears' ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib is being sent to jail for 45 days for leaving the scene of an accident. Los Angeles District Attorney's spokeswoman Jane Robison says Ghalib was taken into custody immediately after being sentenced Friday.

Wesley Snipes appeals 3 tax convictions in Georgia
ATLANTA (AP) - Actor Wesley Snipes is set to ask a federal appeals panel to overturn his three federal tax convictions. The actor was sentenced last year to three years in prison on three misdemeanor counts of willful failure to file his income tax returns. A judge allowed him to remain free on bail as he appealed the convictions.
