  • The public statement of Joseph R. Francis, maker of the “Girls Gone Wild’ sexually explicit DVD films admitting that he and his companies failed to keep records required under federal law to prevent the sexual exploitation of children. From 2002 to part of 2003, the company filmed performers, produced, and distributed sexually explicit video materials. Under the agreement Joseph Francis, Mantra Films and MRA Holdings will pay a total of $2.1 million in fines and restitution, and comply with other requirements.
