  • The federal racketeering (“RICO”) indictment against John A. Gotti, the son of now-deceased former Gambino crime family boss John Gotti. The charges included assertions that he ordered the abduction and beating of Guardian Angel's founder and radio talk show host Curtis Sliwa. On September 27, 2006, a federal judge declared a third mistrial against in the case.
