New York Judge Michael Stallman denied a legal attempt by Naomi Campbell to bar her ex-maid from raising prior examples of the supermodel's allegedly "chrpnic abusive and repeatedly violent conduct toward her employees." According to Judge Stallman, "[i]f proven, the reports of Campbell's conduct with respect to other people could support a finding of wanton or outrageous conduct," that might support a finding of punitive damages.
Felony assault charges were previously filed against Campbell after she through a Swarovski crystal-encrusted phone at a housekeeper in her New York City condo. In that case, Campbell subsequently plead to misdemeanor assault charges and was sentenced to anger management classes and ordered to perform community service.
