  • Harry Markopolos, a Boston-based financial fraud investigator, testified about the "Madoff Ponzi Scheme" fraud before the House Committee on Financial Services at the U.S. Congress.

In detailed testimony, Markopolos explained how he "provided evidence to the SEC’s Boston Regional Office that should have caused an investigation of Madoff," and kept doing so with additonal materials over a period of nine (9) years, but that "nothing was done" by the nation's top securities regulatory agency.

You can read his detailed testimony, and see detailed charts, data, and correspondence that he sent the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission about Madoff for nearly a decade.
