  • An appeals court for the District of Columbia rejected a former administrative law judge's appeal seeking at least $54 million in a dispute over a pair of missing pants.

In upholding a trial judge's original decision, the three-judge panel concluded that Roy Pearson, Jr.'s argument that“Same Day Service” sign was a false statement unless “Same Day Service” was always and automatically provided." According to the court Pearson’s interpretation “frankly defies logic.”
