Prosecutors dropped two assault charges, one count of adultery, and one count of obstruction of justice on January 6, 2005. On January 14, 2005, a jury found Graner guilty of nine out of ten counts stemming from his abuse of prisoners at Abu Grhaib prison in Iraq.
