How the Dow 30 have performed since Oct. 9, 2007By The Associated Press The Dow Jones industrial average closed at 14,253.77 on Tuesday, 0.6 percent higher than its previous record close on Oct. 9, 2007. Here's a snapshot of how the 30 stocks within the benchmark index have performed since then. Home Depot posted the biggest percentage jump over that time, and much of that has come in the last year on signs that the housing market is improving. IBM stock also climbed steadily along with its profits.
