Plane crashes in southern Sudan

KHARTOUM, Sudan (AP) - Security officials and a U.N. radio station say a plane carrying about 20 people has crashed in southern Sudan.

The country's state-run National Television says senior government officials were aboard. It gave no details about casualties.

Sudanese security officials said emergency workers were still en route to the scene. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to media.
