AP interview: Pablo Escobar's son asks forgiveness
The former Juan Pablo Escobar is appearing in a documentary titled "Sins of My Father," premiering later this month in Argentina and Amsterdam. In the film, he asks forgiveness of the sons of two politicians his father ordered assassinated. Juan Pablo Escobar changed his name to Sebastian Marroquin after his father was killed by police in 1993. Marroquin tells The Associated Press his father's fortune is gone. He says he wasn't involved in the world's largest cocaine-smuggling operation and his family has been unjustly persecuted. 2009-11-08 16:49:08 GMT
